I have a short question. Do Programs from the Ti 82 work on Ti82 stats as mentioned above?

In general, yes. There are few commands that may be problems, but they are rarely used. Some aren't written in the same way on the TI 82 (sqrt instead of sqrt() for example), but you can easily translate it your self. You have a catalog of the commands for both models and their equivalent (if existant) in my signature to help you
